The Great Wild World is the directory of every public world — every publicly published world lives here. Open it from the top bar; no account needed to browse. Find something you like, open its world page, and hit Enter.

The search box matches world names, descriptions, and author nicknames, and you can flip between 🔥 Hot and 🕐 Latest sorting anytime. The list keeps loading as you scroll, until you reach the end of it.

  • Cover: hover the card to cross-fade in the real screenshot captured at publish time — preview before entering
  • Author chip: the author's avatar and nickname — click to open their author page
  • Four stats: 👣 visits · 🟢 online · ⭐ favorites · 👍 likes
  • Cluster badge: how many worlds are linked into this world's network (🔗 cluster · N worlds)

The world page goes deeper: tip coins to the author, browse the title ladder, see the other worlds in its cluster, and copy the share link to a friend.

Hover a card's cover to preview the real in-world screenshot before you pick a world.

Follow & favorite

Click the author chip on any world card to open the author page: avatar, nameplate, public name, stats (worlds / followers / following), and every public world they have published. Author pages have their own shareable link — anyone can view them without an account.

Hit Follow on an author page to start tracking them, and Unfollow anytime you change your mind. The My Worlds title row has a 👥 Following link: authors are grouped, each showing their 3 latest public worlds, with More jumping to the author page.

Favorite and like (⭐ / 👍) work on both world pages and explore cards, and require an account — guests are sent to the sign-in page. Unfavoriting keeps the card where it is: the star turns hollow, and you can light it again anytime.

Friends

The friends panel docks in the portal's bottom-right corner, opened from the 👥 button next to the 🔔 in the top bar; inside a world there is a 👥 button too (once signed in). The panel has three tabs: Friends, Groups, Requests.

  1. Click Add friend on an author page, or on someone's nameplate in a multiplayer world; you can also use + Add friend in the panel and type their login name
  2. The other side sees the request under Requests and picks Accept or Decline
  3. If they had already sent you a request too, you become friends the moment either of you accepts

Chat & world invites: Send message on a friend row opens a 1:1 chat; the invite menu at the top of the chat sends one of your published worlds as an invite card, and your friend jumps straight in with Enter. Inside a world, tapping Enter saves your current progress first.

Nameplate menu: in multiplayer worlds, click the nameplate above a user for a quick menu — the items depend on your relationship: Add friend for strangers, Send message for friends, with View info always at the bottom. Guests can't be added as friends; sign in to use it.

⚠️
After a declined request you can't ask the same user again for 24 hours, and the friend list has a cap — save the slots for real friends.

Groups

In the Groups tab of the friends panel, hit + New group — the name is optional (1-64 characters). Each user can own up to 20 groups, and each group holds up to 50 members.

Any member can invite their own friends (up to 10 per batch), and invitees join immediately — no confirmation needed. After being removed or leaving, you can't be re-invited for 24 hours.

Group chat works exactly like friend chat: bubbles, unread counts, instant toasts. Talk worlds, set times, gather your crew — all in one place.

  • Rename the group
  • Remove members
  • Transfer ownership — takes effect immediately once you (the current owner) confirm; you hand over full control, including the power to remove you
  • Disband the group — chat and history are deleted permanently

If the owner leaves voluntarily, ownership passes automatically to the earliest member — unless the owner is the last member left, in which case the group disbands.

💡
The 10-per-batch limit is per invite — to bring in more people, just send another batch.

Inbox

The number next to the 🔔 in the top bar is your unread count — click it to open the inbox. Connection activity, friend requests, world invites, badges earned… every notification lands here.

  • Connections: connection requests, approval results, gate mapping changes, bag whitelist changes, breaks and takedowns
  • Friends: friend requests and acceptances
  • World invites: a friend invites you into their world
  • Achievements & account: badges earned, membership tier changes

Opening a connection's detail page marks its notifications as read; friend notifications are marked read when you tap View friend; or use Mark all read to clear everything at once.

⚠️
Connection requests left unanswered for over 7 days are automatically treated as declined, and the requester gets notified — respond to requests promptly.
💡
A world-invite notification opens the friend's chat directly — the invite card is right there in the message history.
